Summary of Board Meeting 9 February 2011 |

At the Board of Directors meeting held on 9 February 2011 it was resolved to:
- Write to RNSWBA to object to a proposal for NSW bowling clubs to be charged a fee for each time a bowler bowls on the greens as a method of fund raising for the Royal;
- Approve a new seven day per week promotion in which the club will give away a car and cash prizes and to increase Merimbula venue membership discount applying on Mon, Tue, Wed, to 20% from 21 February 2011 to 27 June 2011;
- Discontinue the operation of the Tura Advertising Committee and delegate the responsibility to Tura venue supervisor with R. Thompson assisting;
- Approve solicitor drafting changes to MIBC Ltd Constitution in readiness for de-amalgamation, for membership consideration at mid-year general meeting;
- To hold an information night for members prior to the mid-year general meeting to explain these changes;
- Approve the appointment of Felicity White to the Tournament Committee;
- Approve the purchase Portable PA System , Mixing Desk, Speakers and Microphone and Kitchen Crockery for Merimbula venue ($14,600);
- Approve partial painting of Tura venue internal and external club house surfaces ($6,800);
- Approve replacement of waterless urinals located in Merimbula venue rear foyer male toilets ($14,000);
- Approve donations to Bega Valley Relay for Life and FSC U13s Soccer Team;
- Approve 144 new and transferring memberships comprising:
- TBCC Bowls - 1
- Golf - 2
- Country Golf - 2
- Junior Golf - 4
- Gym Junior - 3
- Social & Staff Members - 132
The next monthly Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday 9 March 2011.
